Born in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains and raised by two small-business owners, Jessie learned the value of hard work from a young age. After high school, Jessie pursued a bachelor’s and then a master’s degree from Virginia Tech. After working in the human services field for many years, Jessie returned to school and earned a second master’s degree from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

As the daughter of a custom homebuilder, Jessie spent a great deal of time on construction sites as a child working alongside her family. Her father’s impeccable reputation for integrity and workmanship taught Jessie the importance of going above and beyond and creating a product to be proud of. Continuing her interest in construction, Jessie, her husband, and her mother-in-law take pride in finding tired, old homes and giving them a complete renovation and a second life for a new family.

In her 5th year of real estate, Jessie’s clients rave that she is patient, honest, and an excellent communicator, which she attributes to her upbringing and her 10 years spent teaching elementary school in rural Virginia. Though Jessie enjoyed her work with young children, she opted to change careers and pursue her long-time interest in real estate when her family relocated to Western North Carolina. As a North Carolina resident, and a seasoned real estate professional, she recognizes and values the trust clients place in her and strives every day to exceed their expectations.

In her free time, Jessie enjoys off-roading on 4×4 trails with her Jeep clubs, camping with her husband and teenage children, and spending summer days on the lake or in the river with their German Shepherd. Hayden Outdoors gives Jessie the opportunity to combine her love of the outdoors with a career that helps clients realize their goals as well.
